Steam vr headset11/9/2023 Overall I am not sure many of this games will work right like that, seeing that in-home streaming is not taking your movement It only seems that Steam won't let me do it unless I physically plug in some VR headset, but surely there has to be some way around that? Well mate been completely honest with you even if you can do it, I don't think you should do it, its a recipe for being sick Originally posted by FEZ Thurbo:No, I want Steam to start a game in VR. Looked pretty silly.) and without using a different streaming service other than Steam's own in-house streaming. Now that there are so many games with official VR support, I'd rather that Steam let me launch into VR so I don't have to do the third-party hack with injecting dll files (which was problematic in some games, for instance it turned out that Skyrim's shadows are not actually rendered as textures on 3D-meshes, but would instead always exist on the same two-dimensional plane in 3D space. Steam in-home streaming fixes those issues, and that's why I'd prefer to get it working with that instead of those streaming apps (which CAN trick Steam into thinking they're a headset, mind you, but yeah, connection quality issues galore) I combined it with various streaming apps to stream to my phone, but sadly they all had issues with connection quality. Way back, I used a program that injected dll files into games to make them VR ready (primarily Skyrim, which was before Skyrim had an official VR version).
